Technological Educational Institute of Crete - CEMATEP
Entec Group of Companies cooperates with CEMATEP, a laboratory of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete with which we share the same research interests. Our common project is the construction of a pioneering photovoltaic sunshade. This cooperation seeks to find solutions that will reduce the cost and improve the competitiveness of the final product, while at the same time setting the foundation stone for further applications.
The Nanomaterials & Organic Electronics (NANO) Group is part of the Center of Materials Technology & Photonics (CEMATEP) of the Technical Educational Institute (T.E.I) of Crete.
The group's research areas combine synthesis and solution processing of graphene, carbon nanotubes and layered crystals with organic electronics assembly. Their mission is to develop and study low cost and flexible materials for next generation flexible photovoltaic devices, compatible with roll-to-roll large area manufacturing methods.
The long experience and research distinction of the group render the team ideal for the cooperative development of Entec’s pioneering shading system for buildings.
CEMATEP team consists of four academic staff members and three graduate researchers and students. Head of the group is Associate Professor Emmanuel Kymakis.
