Technological Educational Institute Of Crete - CEMATEP

Entec Group of Companies cooperates with CEMATEP, a laboratory of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete with which we share the same research interests. Our common project is the construction of a pioneering photovoltaic sunshade. This cooperation seeks to find solutions that will reduce the cost and improve the competitiveness of the final product, while at the same time setting the foundation stone for further applications.

The Nanomaterials & Organic Electronics Group is part of the Center of Materials Technology & Photonics (CEMATEP) of the Technical Educational Institute (T.E.I) of Crete. Our group's research areas combine growth and characterization of low dimensional carbon based nanomaterials (carbon nanotubes, graphene) with organic electronics assembly.

Our mission is to develop and study new organic materials and organic/inorganic nanocomposites for active layers of functional electronic devices, such as photovoltaics and field emission displays. An understanding of the physical processes in conjugated polymers, organic/inorganic composites and electronic devices on their basis is an important progress factor. The research activities are implemented with a joint effort between the CEMATEP and the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of FORTH, to provide a research facility for state of the art research  in the multidisciplinary field of nanotechnology and advanced electronics.

Technical University Of Crete - RESEL

Entec Group of Companies cooperates with ReSEL in the field of solar thermal electric power plants as well as in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments for large-scale renewable energy projects.

ReSEL focuses on the areas of Applied Research and Technology Development for RES and RUE as well as in Energy Planning and Sustainable Energy Management dealing both with technological (technology research and development, testing, demonstration) and non-technological issues (markets, policies, communication, professional training).
